Introduction: Have you ever experienced a group of runners? They appear to just glide by at a steady stride as they keep their eyes on the goal at hand. What do you think it takes to be a successful runner for Jesus? Today’s reflection will explore finding your race and running it for the glory of God. Let us go to God first to hear the scripture readings from The Bible Experience.
Prayer: Gracious Father we come to you today during this reflection saying thank you for your mercy, love and grace. Cover each of us with your love as you open our hearts, minds and soul to receive a word from on high. Help me to call upon you Lord for guidance as I call upon Jesus Christ for his undying love to move upon our lives so that we may walk into faith when we call upon the Holy Spirit for a continuous flow of wisdom. Move me behind by your spirit and allow only your words for your people to come forth. As your Spirit flows, please open our ears so that we might receive your Holy Word. Gracious Lord, nurture us through your Word, teach us to accept the freedom, which is granted to us through salvation and release us from fear and unforgiveness so that we may receive your Power. O’ Lord, allow your message to add a blessing to all who seek you this day. Let us know that your love is enough. In your precious son Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen. |
