Rev. Jacqueline T. KingRev. Jacqui Thomas King is appointed as the New Church Planter @ Gears Road in Houston, Texas on June 1, 2007.  In June 2005, she was commissioned as a Probationary Elder in the Texas Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church by Bishop Janice Riggle Huie and received the Small Church Pastor of the Year Award.  She continued serving as Senior Pastor to St. Paul United Methodist Church, where she was responsible for ministering to the needs of a multi-generational congregation that loves to praise the Lord!
Prior to her appointment in Port Arthur, Texas, she graduated from Southern Methodist University in May 2004 with her Master in Divinity degree. Previous educational accomplishments include a Master in Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University, Bachelor Science in Merchandising Management from Philadelphia University and a multitude of specialized certifications.  Her gifts and talents coupled with a business background provide a vast experience base for God to use.   Many students experienced Pastor King’ gifts when she served in various ministry leadership positions at Windsor Village United Methodist Church with Children’s, Youth and Young Adult Ministries from 1989 through 2004.
Pastor Jacqui Thomas King is married to Donel King and has two young adult sons.  This committed woman of God loves the Lord and doesn’t have a problem sharing a message of hope with anyone along the way.  Feel free to experience a great virtual faith experience as Nu Faith prepares to launch a brand new faith community in Northwest Houston.
